28 an hour 1-1 Direct Support Professional - Day Hab Without Walls Our Mission at SCARC is to provide high quality services and supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families in Sussex County.
We are now hiring a 1-1 Direct Support Professional for our Day Hab Without Walls program to implement our mission and enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
Provide one on one support for an assigned individual, both in the home and out in the community.
Job duties include:
assisting with daily living skills, including preparing appropriately for daily activities based on the activity, the weather, and the need to bring or purchase meals.
Participate in physical activities which may include formal/informal programs, provide transportation for individual as required, attend medical appointments with the individual as needed, and provide personal care as needed.
Staff will also act as backup support to assigned program in absence of regularly scheduled staff and potentially at any day program or group home.
This may include providing backup transportation support.
Minimum requirements:
18 years of age High school diploma/GED Basic computer skills Valid Driver's License Acceptable driving record COVID vaccination and booster is required Job Type:
